THE FRAUD OF SPIRITUALITY NOWADAYS:

These days, many gurus, spiritual teachers, spiritual teachings of more or less usefulness, appear and spring up everywhere. In my estimation, it is important that you use your intuition in your choices, learning, use your judgment, if you have it, and if not, investigate the options in depth and make sure they interest you.

Keep a list of all the important spiritual people, workshops, certifications, etc. you've accomplished to impress yourself and others. 4. Spiritual Shopping... Habitually buying trinkets/tools/spiritual items or accumulating the blessings and initiations of sages, shamans, saints, expensive objects, to feel somehow more "special", "awakened", "powerful", "aligned" or spiritually worthy. 5. Future obsession... believing that "if I do, I will reach this special elevated state in the future" without living in the present moment. 6. Quick Spirituality... looking for spiritual practices/teachers that are always bigger and better, and that promise "instant joy/abundance/happiness/enlightenment and quick fixes. 7. Focus only on the positive... For the ego to avoid the reality of its own shadow (i.e., its hidden pain, wounds, and delusions), it focuses on the purely positive aspects of spirituality. "Think positive thoughts", "be vibrant", "love and light", "just good vibes". 8. Instant Spirituality... focusing on aesthetically pleasing spiritual practices that are "Instagram-worthy" while neglecting the deeper, messier aspects of spiritual transformation that can't fit into a pretty picture. 9. The spirituality of Hollywood... Instead of honoring the ordinary magic of everyday life, he seeks the spirituality of lights and glamour and seeks out supernatural experiences such as angelic visitations, visions, UFO encounters, spirit guides, teachers with "extrasensory" abilities. 10. Addiction to self-improvement... You move from one teacher to another, seeking to be "more healed," spiritually awake, not realizing that, by constantly trying to improve, you are never happy and are constantly reinforcing the illusory ego that feels broken. 11. Spiritual Narcissism Spiritual narcissism begins with spiritual materialism. Within spiritual materialism (the trap of using spirituality to serve the ego, which seeks economic gain by using spirituality as a bargaining chip) there is always a seed of spiritual narcissism. And if that seed continues to be nurtured without being overlooked, without being uprooted or challenged, it grows and grows, spirituality to strengthen your self-identity creates a spiritual narcissist. 12. Spiritual codependency (finding a spiritual guide/teacher who reflects your own repressed desires, and vice versa, e.g., your desire to be "protected" or "saved" and the teacher's desire to feel special, needed, and loved). 19. The "Chosen People Complex" (believing that their group/path/teacher is the best in the world). 20. Falling into the cult of personality (bolstering your self-esteem by associating with a powerful, charismatic, or perhaps enlightened teacher). 21. The Messiah complex or believing that "you have arrived" (prematurely pretending to be enlightened and know everything, which severely limits growth and harms others). 22. Spiritual detour (avoiding facing reality in favor of escaping spiritual fantasies to feel good). 23. The spiritual ego as an inability to distinguish between the interpretation of an action linked to a feeling and of illusion. 24. The spiritual ego as the inability to discern between a you-me and us. 25. The political-spiritual ego, the one that promises results that will not be fulfilled, without a position of responsibility, in which it is believed that everything is part of an illusory divine plan.  26. The spiritual ego dedicated to an age group, gender, ethnicity, instead of the common good, as a reflection of my group to the detriment of others who cannot have access due to discrimination, exclusionary and exclusive, which seeks economic benefit only for me, example "spirituality for women".

A continuación, expreso las trampas que te puedes encontrar en el camino y por tanto, elige con sabiduría. Recuerda que no todo es para todo el mundo, respeta tu proceso y el de otros y evita a los estafadores, que hay muchos. La garantía de que estas avanzando es tu práctica y toma de responsabilidad de tu vida y elecciones, no responsabilices a otros de tus logros y fracasos. Trabajar con uno mismo la concepción del Ser no es tarea fácil. Y como dicen en el Zen, aprende a estar siendo, porque vives en el planeta tierra en esta dimensión también.

Espiritualidad rápida ... buscando prácticas espirituales / maestros que siempre son más grandes y mejores, y que prometen "alegría instantánea / abundancia / felicidad / iluminación y soluciones rápidas. 7. Centrarse solo en lo positivo ... para que el ego evite la realidad de su propia sombra (es decir, su dolor oculto, heridas y engaños), se centra en los aspectos puramente positivos de la espiritualidad. “Piensa pensamientos positivos”, “sé vibrante”, “amor y luz”, “solo buenas vibras”. 8. Espiritualidad instantánea ... enfocándose en prácticas espirituales estéticamente agradables que son "dignas de Instagram" mientras descuidan los aspectos más profundos y desordenados de la transformación espiritual que no pueden encajar en una imagen bonita. 9. La espiritualidad de Hollywood ... en lugar de honrar la magia ordinaria de la vida cotidiana, busca la espiritualidad de luces y glamur y busca experiencias sobrenaturales como visitas angelicales, visiones, encuentros con ovnis, guías espirituales, maestros con habilidades "extrasensoriales". 10. Adicción a la superación personal ... pasas de un maestro a otro, en busca de ser "más curado", espiritualmente despierto, sin darte cuenta de que, al tratar constantemente de mejorar, nunca eres feliz y estás constantemente reforzando el ego ilusorio que se siente roto. 11. Narcisismo espiritual El narcisismo espiritual comienza con el materialismo espiritual. Dentro del materialismo espiritual (la trampa de usar la espiritualidad para servir al ego, que busca el beneficio económico usando la espiritualidad como moneda de cambio) siempre hay una semilla de narcisismo espiritual. Y si esa semilla sigue siendo alimentada sin pasar por alto, sin ser desarraigada o desafiada, crece y crece, espiritualidad para fortalecer su identidad propia crea un narcisista espiritual. 12. Desvío espiritual (evitando enfrentar la realidad a favor de escapar a fantasías espirituales para sentirse bien). 23. El ego espiritual como incapacidad de distinguir entre la interpretación de una acción unida a un sentimiento y de la ilusión. 24. El ego espiritual como la incapacidad de discernir entre un tu-yo y nosotros. 25. El ego político-espiritual, el que promete resultados que no se van a cumplir, sin cargo de responsabilidad, en el que se cree que todo es parte de un plan divino ilusorio.  26. El ego espiritual dedicado a un grupo etario, de género, origen étnico, en vez de el bien común, como reflejo de mi grupo en detrimento de otros que no pueden tener acceso por discriminación, excluyente y exclusivo, que busca el beneficio económico solo para mí, ejemplo "espiritualidad para mujeres".
